Why hand stripping?

- Keeps the coat as nature intended. Removing the dead outer coat by hand lets a new, harsh wire coat grow through.
- Weatherproof and protective. A stripped coat repels dirt and water far better than a clipped one.
- Rich colour and texture. Clipping can leave wire coats soft, fluffy and faded. Hand stripping keeps them true.
- Gentle and calm. Plenty of breaks and reassurance, so each groom goes at your dog’s own pace.
